Our Religious Habit

As an outward sign of our consecrated life
we wear a habit which is simple in style,
neutral and alike in color.

We wear a silver badge of the Sacred Heart
of Jesus, the emblem of our Society.

This badge is a symbol of our Lord's love for us and also our love for Him.

Jesus says:

"No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends."    John. 15:13

In response to the call of our Lord Jesus Christ, we give our undivided love to Him through the vow of Chastity.

Jesus invites:

"Come and follow me"  Matthew 19:21

Christ was poor... We freely surrender to Him all that we have and all that we are through the vow of Poverty.

Jesus prays:

"Father, not my will but yours be done" Luke 22:26

Our obedience is the expression of our living submission to the will of God. He was obedient unto death. Through the vow of obedience we share in our Lord's filial relationship with the Father and in His mission of salvation.

Jesus commands:

"Love one another as I have loved you"     John 15:12

"Faith in God leads us to a deeper appreciation of each person as someone very precious whom God loves personally and uniquely."
